Hi, I am going to talk
about my favorite subject, this is “bases cientificas y clinicas para el diagnostico”,
the subject is one of the scientific subject that is taught during second year of
the curriculum, this subject lasts two semesters in one year because the subject
is annual, the subject is compound by various branches of science for example, pathology,
physiology, microbiology, biochemistry.
The physiology part of
the course teaches us the functioning of the different organs that the
human body has for example, heart, lung, intestine, etc. and also the systemic
function among the organs.
The microbiology part
teaches us the different microorganism that the human body has, for example streptococcus.
The pathology part teaches
us, the different pathologies that can appear in the oral cavity for example,
heary leukoplakia, ulcers, carcinoma, etc
The biochemistry part teaches
us, the different molecule that gives us energy for making different activities.
I like it a lot
because it is scientific and also this subject is very interesting for learning how our different organs function, and it also opens a new world that goes out of traditional
dentistry.
My experience in the
subject was tremendously successful because I was a collaborator in the laboratory of
microbiology.
Dx is very interesting and hard! I like learning about the organs function too :D
